Heat exchangers
Stainal Engineering Works has technical expertise in heat exchanger process and mechanical design. We have the experience to design heat exchangers for customer specific applications to achieve the required output parameters. Designed and manufactured to TEMA standards. Our exchangers have a variable operating range with an exchange surface from 5 m3 to 5000 m3. We design heat exchangers for various metal alloys. There are also models such as the straight tube and the U-tube.
Two liquids with different starting temperatures circulate in the heat exchanger. One goes through the tube (tube side) and the other is outside the tube and inside the shell (shell side). Heat is transferred from one liquid to another, from one side of the tube to the side of the shell, and vice versa, through the walls of the tube. The liquid can be a liquid or a gas on either side of the casing or the tube. For efficient heat transfer, a large heat transfer area should be used and multiple pipes can be used. In this way, waste heat can be used. It is an effective way to save energy.
Heat exchangers that have only one phase (liquid or gas) on each side are called single-phase or single-phase heat exchangers. A two-stage heat exchanger can be used to boil liquid into gas (steam), sometimes called a boiler, or to cool the vapor and convert it to liquid (called a condenser). It can be converted. It can generally be used for condensation with a phase transition. Shellside.. In large power plants equipped with steam turbines, shell and shell-and-tube condensers are used to condense turbine steam into condensate. The condensate is transformed into steam by a steam generator and recycled.
These are used in liquid-cooled chillers, where heat is transferred between the refrigerant and water in an evaporator and condenser. It is also used in air coolers which are used alone in the evaporator. They have a variety of uses in the food, chemical, electrical and pharmaceutical industries.
